How to get through to Health care with a disability

If you live with a disability, you have three options for health coverage from the government. Medicaid, Medicare and Affordable care act Marketplace. Medicaid provides free or low-cost medical benefits to people with disabilities, Medicare provides medical health insurance to people under 65 who have certain disabilities and any age with end-stage renal disease (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or a kidney transplant), and the Affordable Care act Marketplace offers options to people who live with a disability, don’t qualify for disability benefits, and need health coverage. According to USA Government.
Living with a disability or condition isn't easy as cutting a slice of pie. Especially, the countless days and nights dealing with doctors are when you are sitting at the doctor's office. How many of you can raise your hand with a smile on your face--you're proud of your medical insurance and how your doctors treat your condition? We bet not many are proud of the outcome and want to see a better health care system, the patient's experience is a critical part of the health care system. If patients aren't proud of the health care insurance, like anything else they need to make a review and this applies to positive reviews as well. Living with a disability isn't easy especially dealing with medical on top of everything else. So, What is a barrier to healthcare for people with disabilities? medication, accessible equipment, and little to no communication with the patient and the way the doctor responds to their patient/s. These are the biggest issues we as a person with a disability have to face. let alone accessible transportation. Now that you see that healthcare is a HUGE! the issue for people with mental and physical conditions or disabilities, what are some things they can do to fix the issue? Speaking up is the first major step. How can people with disabilities speak up and be heard? reaching out to their senator and expressing their concerns about health care policy. And staying persistent with calling the senate. Online reference USA Government
